With a playoff win on the line, Cypress Creek rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Tohopekaliga Tigers 13-7. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cypress Creek let Roger Silva and Jesus Barreto run wild. Silva scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Barreto scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave Silva a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Bryan Puello, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Cypress Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory snapped Cypress Creek's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-16 record. As for Tohopekaliga, they moved to 11-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
