Football Recap: Neshaminy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Neshaminy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were beaten by the North Penn Knights 35-7 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Skins have suffered since October 18, 2024.

Michael Eckart threw for 93 yards and one touchdown. Mike Sassano was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Carter Clee rushed for 68 yards.

With the defeat, Neshaminy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4. As for North Penn, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Neshaminy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Penn, they will take on Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 14, the Rams 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
