Basketball Recap: Big Pine Warriors vs. Baker Braves
The Big Pine Warriors lost against the Baker Braves back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Big Pine took a 54-38 bruising from the Braves. Big Pine has not had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Big Pine saw an underclassman step up: Noah Ericson scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Miller, who scored seven points.
Big Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Baker, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Big Pine will head out on the road to face off against the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trona has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
