Volleyball Recap: Bayfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Solon Springs Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bayfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 18-25, 25-9, 18-25, 15-7.

Bayfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Solon Springs, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Bayfield and Solon Springs will both be playing South Shore the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Trollers will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
