Nixon put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Palmview Lobos onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by just one goal.

Nixon's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those six matchups. As for Palmview, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 1-5-1.

Coincidentally, Nixon and Palmview will both be playing Mission Veterans Memorial the next time they take the pitch. Nixon will head out to face Mission Veterans Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Palmview will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st.
