Football Recap: Ponderosa Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Ponderosa's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-0 to the Douglas County Huskies, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The critical scores for Douglas County came from Reilly Covert and Jylian Cabral.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Douglas County, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ponderosa will host Rock Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas County, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Arapahoe at 11:30 a.m.
