Basketball Recap: Blair-Taylor Comes Up Short

Blair-Taylor was the 58-50 winner over Melrose-Mindoro when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blair-Taylor Wildcats fell to the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs 63-58.

Blair-Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Melrose-Mindoro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Blair-Taylor will be home for the holidays to greet Alma Center Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Blair-Taylor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitehall at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
