Softball Recap: Gaither Cowboys vs. Chamberlain Storm

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Gaither was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Chamberlain Storm by a score of 3-2. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carolyn Emanuel was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Riley Russell also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
