Sheridan won the last time they faced Laramie and things went their way on Friday too. The Broncs put the hurt on the Plainsmen with a sharp 38-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncs, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Sheridan can attribute much of their success to Blaine Phillips, who rushed for 43 yards, and also threw for 44 yards and one TD.

Sheridan's run defense was locked in: Laramie could only muster one yards per carry. The Broncs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.7.

Despite the loss, Laramie still got an impressive performance from Dax Parvin, who threw for 242 yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one score on the ground. That rushing touchdown was Parvin's first of the season.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Laramie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Sheridan and Laramie are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Broncs will be playing in front of their home fans against Kelly Walsh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Laramie, they will square off against Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Camels' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Plainsmen's offense will have their work cut out for them.
