Softball Game Preview: Evergreen Wolverines vs. Steilacoom Sentinels

The Evergreen Wolverines will take on the Steilacoom Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Evergreen knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Steilacoom likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Evergreen made easy work of Mercer Island and carried off a 20-1 win. Considering the Wolverines have won four matches by more than 13 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Steilacoom's offense. They lost 18-0 to Franklin Pierce on Wednesday. The Sentinels have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Steilacoom, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
