Baseball Recap: Linfield Christian Takes a Loss

Linfield Christian suffered their closest loss since March 8th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Woodcrest Christian Royals by a score of 5-3. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Linfield Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Stidman, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Linfield Christian and nudges their season record down to 11-5-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Woodcrest Christian, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Linfield Christian beat the Royals by a score of 9-3 on Thursday.
