Baseball Recap: La Salle Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lakeridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Salle). Everything went their way against the Lakeridge Pacers on Monday as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Falcons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 3, 2024.

Max Bishop spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Kiernan Kelly was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Declan O'Brien, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory made it two in a row for La Salle and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Lakeridge, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, La Salle will head out to face off against Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeridge, they will be playing at home against South Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
