Baseball Recap: Sierra Linda Comes Up Short

Sierra Linda lost against Copper Canyon last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 20-1 to the Aztecs. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Sierra Linda's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Copper Canyon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sierra Linda is set to square off against their familiar foe Glendale at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Copper Canyon will face off against rival Washington at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Aztecs' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Rams have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
