Dwight hadn't done well against Putnam County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Trojans came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 10-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dwight is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Putnam County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.
