Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

Mount Vernon lost against West Potomac back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mount Vernon Majors lost 5-1 to the West Potomac Wolverines. The Majors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Potomac, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Vernon will venture away from home to take on McLean at 7:15 p.m. on March 27th. As for West Potomac, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lewis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
