Carrick had to settle for second on Thursday, but Jaiden Gill sure wasn't going down easily. Gill turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up a sack, making five total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defending one pass.

Gill and Carrick will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Collinwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
