Volleyball Game Preview: Jonathan Alder Pioneers vs. Bishop Fenwick Falcons

The Jonathan Alder Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jonathan Alder will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Jonathan Alder made easy work of Urbana and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Bishop Fenwick earned a 3-1 win over Mount Notre Dame on Thursday.

Bishop Fenwick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.

Jonathan Alder's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Bishop Fenwick, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Jonathan Alder beat Bishop Fenwick 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
