Mapleton won the last time they faced Bucyrus and things went their way on Monday too. The Mounties walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Redmen. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mounties.

Mapleton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-17, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Bucyrus still got an impressive performance from Reese Garvin, who had 12 digs and one assist. Garvin has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Mapleton's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Bucyrus, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Mapleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against South Central on the 7th. As for Bucyrus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Colonel Crawford on the 7th.
