            Basketball Recap: Columbus International Lions vs. South Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            A well-balanced attack led Columbus International over South in every quarter on their way to victory  on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Columbus International Lions blew the South Bulldogs out of the water with  a  70-33 final score. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten  games by 22  points or more this season.

 Leila Carter was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 24 points and 12  rebounds. The  match was  her tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marley Benson, who  posted 11  points in addition to eight  assists and eight  steals.
 Columbus International  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in seven consecutive  contests.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ke'Sia Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 13  boards. Williams is  on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Emani Tynes-Clardy, who  had nine  points.
Columbus International's win was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 62.8 points per game. As for South,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 10-9.
 Columbus International does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South, they will take on Fairfield Christian Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
