Basketball Recap: Susquenita Takes a Loss

Susquenita lost against Pequea Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Susquenita Blackhawks fell 49-38 to the Pequea Valley Braves.

Despite the loss, Susquenita still got an impressive performance from Ryan Schoppy, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Vega, who posted nine points and six assists.

Susquenita's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Pequea Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Susquenita will challenge Millersburg at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Millersburg is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats at home, meaning Susquenita will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Pequea Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
