Sebring is 8-2 against Lake Placid since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sebring Blue Streaks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lake Placid Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sebring is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Lake Wales. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Blue Streaks couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Scarlett Lackey, who's now up to 16 this season.

Meanwhile, Lake Placid fell victim to Frostproof and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Considering the last time the Dragons couldn't score was back in November of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Sebring's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Lake Placid, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-2 record this season.

Sebring skirted past Lake Placid 3-2 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Sebring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake Placid turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
