Basketball Recap: Asotin Takes a Loss

Asotin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-16 loss at the hands of the Liberty Lancers. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Asotin's record now sits at 2-5. As for Liberty, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Asotin Panthers duke it out with the Colton Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on December 31st. Liberty and White Swan will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty is facing White Swan at the right time seeing as White Swan is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
