Baseball Recap: Green Run Takes a Loss

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Bayside Marlins. If the Stallions were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Marlins when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Green Run's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Bayside, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Run will venture away from home to face off against Oscar Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bayside, they will head out to challenge First Colonial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Marlins surely won't give up without a fight.
