Softball Recap: Fond du Lac Comes Up Short

Fond du Lac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Kimberly Papermakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Papermakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-6 back in April.

Fond du Lac saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristyn Ernst, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Fond du Lac's record now sits at 15-11. As for Kimberly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fond du Lac will challenge rival Oshkosh North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kimberly is set to square off against their familiar foe Oshkosh West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
