Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Pioneers vs. Nashua North Titans

Trinity is 1-8 against Nashua North since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trinity Pioneers will face off against the Nashua North Titans at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Trinity's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Trinity is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Exeter, who was ranked 25th at the time (Trinity was ranked eighth). Trinity took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Exeter.

Meanwhile, Nashua North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Winnacunnet, falling 68-46. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly 22 points.

Nashua North's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Trinity, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.

Trinity came up short against Nashua North when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 70-60. Can Trinity avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
