Basketball Recap: Mullen Mustangs vs. Ralston Valley Mustangs        
        
		
             Mullen saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They took a hard  67-48 fall against the Ralston Valley Mustangs.
 Mullen's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Ben Medina, who  went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points plus five  rebounds, and  Mason Bonner, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 11  rebounds. The  contest was  Bonner's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
  Tanner Braketa had an outrageously good game for Ralston Valley as he  went 6 for 13 en route to 24 points plus two  steals. Braketa has been hot , having  posted 15 or more points the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Samson Wright, who  posted five points along with three  steals and three  blocks.
 Mullen's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ralston Valley, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Mullen will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Columbine  at 7:00  p.m. Mullen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59  points per game  this season. As for Ralston Valley, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Legend  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Legend's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
