Soccer Recap: Montgomery County Comes Up Short

Montgomery County managed to slip by Swainsboro the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Montgomery County Eagles came up short against the Swainsboro Tigers on Monday, falling 6-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Montgomery County dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Swainsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Montgomery County will face off against Treutlen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Swainsboro, they will take on Woodville-Tompkins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
