Volleyball Recap: Springstead Comes Up Short

The Springstead Eagles came up short against the Astronaut War Eagles on Friday and fell 2-0.

Astronaut can attribute much of their success to Jojo Demers, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Demers has posted over her last seven contests.

Springstead's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Astronaut, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Springstead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Parkland on the 30th. As for Astronaut, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Brook Hill on the 30th.
