Volleyball Recap: Incarnate Word Academy Wins Going Away Against Notre Dame

Incarnate Word Academy won the last time they faced Notre Dame and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Red Knights put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Knights as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8, 25-20.

Incarnate Word Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Notre Dame, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Incarnate Word Academy will take on Normal Community in a tournament on Friday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Metro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
