Softball Recap: Gurdon Comes Up Short

Gurdon came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Magnet Cove Panthers, falling 16-1. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Go-Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Gurdon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Magnet Cove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gurdon will challenge Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Magnet Cove will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Poyen at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
