It's playoff time, and Beloit had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy  55-38 win over the Ellsworth Bearcats on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
 Eli Johnson was  his usual excellent self,  shooting 87% from the field en route to 30  points.  Jackson Cheney was another key player,  putting up eight points and five  assists.
 Beloit was working as a unit and  finished the game with 18  assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  assist total in three consecutive  games.
Beloit's victory was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Ellsworth, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
As of now, neither Beloit nor Ellsworth have any future games scheduled.
