Basketball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Drops Highest Score of Season Against Leroy-Ostrander

Lyle/Pacelli scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 112-101 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (72), the Athletics still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Camden Hungerholt, who shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 61 points and 12 boards for LeRoy-Ostrander. Hungerholt is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Reid Hungerholt, who posted 27 points and three steals.

Lyle/Pacelli has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games. The win was the third in a row for LeRoy-Ostrander, bringing their record for this year to 13-13.

As of now, neither Lyle/Pacelli nor LeRoy-Ostrander have any future games scheduled.
