Basketball Recap: Windsor Skates Past Mead with Ease

There's no place like home for Windsor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Mead Mavericks 70-36 on Tuesday. The Wizards pushed the score to 62-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mavericks cut but never quite recovered from.

Madden Smiley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 21 points and six steals. Brady Kingsley was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 15 points.

Windsor was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Mead lost, don't look at Cole Lyddan. Despite the final result, he shot 58% from the field on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Julian Sosa, who posted nine points.

The victory got Windsor back to even at 2-2.

Windsor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-61 win against Mesa Ridge on the 11th. As for Mead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-41 defeat against Bear Creek on the 10th.
