Basketball Recap: Loyola Takes a Loss

Loyola was the 77-69 winner over Nicollet when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Loyola Crusaders took an 85-78 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nicollet Raiders on Tuesday.

Loyola has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Nicollet, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-12.

Looking ahead, Loyola will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sleepy Eye at 5:45 p.m. As for Nicollet, they will head out on the road to challenge Sibley East at 5:45 p.m. on February 25th.
