Baseball Recap: Murphy Comes Up Short

Murphy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 37th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Saraland Spartans, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Murphy's loss dropped their record down to 0-30. As for Saraland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Murphy by a score of 15-0 later that day.
