Softball Game Preview: Mt. Spokane Wildcats vs. University Titans

The Mt. Spokane Wildcats will head out to challenge the University Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mt. Spokane comes in on 13 and University on three.

On Friday, Mt. Spokane made easy work of Ridgeline and carried off a 13-1 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, University got the win against Shadle Park on Friday by a conclusive 16-1. The Titans are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the ninth contest they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Mt. Spokane pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 11.4 runs thus far. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Mt. Spokane beat University 9-4 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
