Volleyball Recap: Anamosa Takes a Loss

The Anamosa Raiders came up short against the Dowling Catholic Maroons on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Anamosa's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Dowling Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Anamosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Davenport North on the 13th. As for Dowling Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Ankeny Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Maroons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
