It was fun while it lasted, but Linfield Christian's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Saturday. They fell just short of the Whittier Christian Heralds by a score of 7-6. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chloe Hill and Sophia Rezkalah stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hill went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Rezkalah scored a run while going 2-for-3. That home run was Hill's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Linfield Christian fell to 6-1. As for Whittier Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
