Evart won the last time they faced Houghton Lake, and Aceyn Morgan did his part to make sure it happened again. The Evart Wildcats walked away with a 64-56 win over the Houghton Lake Bobcats on Thursday for which the team can thank Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (six).

Another player making a difference was Aidan Anderson, who posted 15 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Evart has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Houghton Lake and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
