Lancaster was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Andrew Macias did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Macias as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Macias couldn't lead Lancaster over Palmdale, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are 9-1 against the Falcons going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
