Recap: United Faith Christian Academy Falcons vs. Victory Christian Center Kings
After a string of ten wins, the United Faith Christian Academy Falcons's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Victory Christian Center by a score of 77-74. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, United Faith Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from JD Bowden, who scored 32 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bowden has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Deluca, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Victory Christian Center found their leader in underclassman Justyn Whitfield, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Xavier Perry was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
United Faith Christian Academy's defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-7. As for Victory Christian Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.
United Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Victory Christian Center also has no future games currently scheduled.
