Cary has gone a perfect 3-0 against Knightdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Imps will take on the Knights at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Cary and seven for Knightdale.

Cary fell victim to Cardinal Gibbons and their airtight pitching crew last Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Crusaders. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Imps were not able to get on the board.

Cary saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylan Joyner, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Knightdale also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Rolesville on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

Cary's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Knightdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Cary came out on top in a nail-biter against Knightdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Imps since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
