Baseball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss

Southridge hit Pasco with a six-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 9-2 to the Suns. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Suns recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Pasco saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Garcia, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Jon Wokojance also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.

Pasco's record now sits at 3-10. As for Southridge, they moved to 8-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Suns beat Pasco by a score of 8-7 later that day.
