Basketball Game Preview: Bloomfield Bees vs. Creighton Bulldogs

Bloomfield and Creighton are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Bloomfield Bees will challenge the Creighton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Bloomfield came up short against Neligh-Oakdale and fell 59-47. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Bloomfield saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madyson Mlady posted 20 points and six boards. The game was Mlady's ninth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Eisenhauer, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, Creighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 77-49 defeat at the hands of Winnebago.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Creighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Everything came up roses for Bloomfield against Creighton in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 51-19 victory. Does Bloomfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Creighton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
