Volleyball Recap: Drue Vallandingham and Delaneigh Garner Secure Win for Warrensburg-Latham

Warrensburg-Latham had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes.

Leading Warrensburg-Latham to victory were Delaneigh Garner and Drue Vallandingham. Garner had 27 digs and one assist, while Vallandingham had ten digs. Those 27 digs gave Garner a new career-high. Allison Cushing also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Warrensburg-Latham's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Teutopolis, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warrensburg-Latham will host Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Teutopolis, they will square off against Sullivan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
