Recap: Cameron Dragons vs. Winston Red Birds
The Cameron Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 55-22 victory over Winston at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Cameron has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cameron to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eme Teel, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Jameson, who scored 17 points.
Cameron pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Winston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cameron will face off against Lawson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Winston, they will head out on the road to challenge Brookfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
