Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Comes Up Short

East Jessamine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 66-53 to the Boyle County Rebels. The Jaguars lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 71-34 score last time.

East Jessamine's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Boyle County, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Looking ahead, East Jessamine will venture away from home to face off against Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Jessamine is facing Garrard County at the right time seeing as Garrard County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Boyle County, they will welcome Great Crossing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
