Recap: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. Scottsburg Warriors
The Jeffersonville Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Scottsburg 66-47. That looming 66-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Jeffersonville yet this season.
It was another big night for Lakyra Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elle Marble, who scored 12 points.
The victory was the third in a row for Jeffersonville, bringing their record for this year to 13-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Scottsburg, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3.
Jeffersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Scottsburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Lanesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lanesville is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.
