Basketball Recap: Providence Catholic Takes a Loss

Providence Catholic lost against Brother Rice back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Providence Catholic Celtics had to suffer through a 69-29 loss at the hands of the Brother Rice Crusaders. The game marked the Celtics' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Providence Catholic is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13. As for Brother Rice, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Providence Catholic will square off against Providence-St. Mel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brother Rice, they will face off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
