Basketball Recap: Mill Creek Takes a Loss

Mill Creek lost against Buford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mill Creek Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Buford Wolves. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mill Creek's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Buford, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Mill Creek will take on Cherokee in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Buford and North Forsyth will compete for holiday cheer at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
